Re: James Foley Beheading ISIS 2014
LOL - She did the best Obama ass ripping I have heard in a long time! On a more somber note, just like the USA created Bin Ladin and had him on our CIA payroll for years, before he turned on us, the evidence coming out now is pretty clear we trained and jump started ISIS to do our dirty work in Syria. And like Bin Ladin and many others, the blowback was worse than what we set out to fix. Surprised she hinted at that in her tirade. Fox is often no friend of the truth like the rest of the USA media. |

Re: James Foley Beheading ISIS 2014
The hideous and heinous acts carried out in the name of religion make me want to vomit. I consider myself a spiritual person in that I feel a presence and a connection to a higher/metaphysical power that boosts my well-being... but seeing shit like this has me agreeing with the atheists. Religion impedes the process of humanity, it allows humans to think someone cares for them (when nothing does) and thus they live in denial about their severe environmental detriment, and it hinders our global community. I honestly agree with the majority of posters. I am not sure nuclear warfare is the answer- no one wants to start firing nukes now that so many may have access to them, not to mention the amount of innocent citizens obliterated in the process, but these people need to be absolutely and entirely eradicated from the face of the earth. They need to be completely crushed out of existence. |

Re: James Foley Beheading ISIS 2014
Does anyone know why these psychopaths are so fond of beheading their enemies? Is there some kind of symbolism to it, perhaps as the ultimate degradation to a person? Or do they feel that such a gruesome display will catch the world's attention and show that they are to be feared?

I'm pretty sure American policy states that there is no negotiating with terrorist. I wouldn't have put myself in a situation where you could be so easily captured. Any American has to realize that if you travel to any of those countries you're a prize for this very reason.

Re: James Foley Beheading ISIS 2014
From Jihad Watch: A manual of Islamic law has this: As for the captives, the amir [ruler] has the choice of taking the most beneficial action of four possibilities: the first, to put them to death by cutting their necks; the second, to enslave them and apply the laws of slavery regarding their sale and manumission; the third, to ransom them in exchange for goods or prisoners; and fourth, to show favor to them and pardon them. Allah, may he be exalted, says, “When you encounter those [infidels] who deny [Islam] then strike [their] necks” (Qur’an sura 47, verse 4) (Abu’l-Hasan al-Mawardi, The Laws of Islamic Governance). They didn’t get the ransom, so they beheaded him. Clear as day, huh? |
