Alright, so a bunch of people are hopping all over the fact that they didn't show the footage of the actual beheading process.

The interesting thing is that I don't think this is unusual for them.

ISIS puts out two kinds of videos - the glossy propaganda releases, and the amateur cell-phone-camera type. This (the James Foley beheading) is obviously of the former.

To my knowledge, they have only featured beheadings twice before this video in their 'glossy' releases. Both times, they did not include footage of the beheading itself.

One such instance, probably the much better known one, is from Saleel Sawarim 4. This I have been able to locate and attach to this post as an example.

Another was where they accused a man of sorcery and publically beheaded. The clip is from a longer propaganda about how they're fair and just rulers and everyone loves them except for apostates etc. etc. They cut out right when you hear the sword hit the guy's neck and overlay with text and narration. The text also blocks the view of the guy's neck, which I think was intentional. This video is also attached.

So the fact that they don't show the beheading in the video is, believe it or not, not unprecedented. Again the distinction must be made between their highly-polished propaganda releases and amateur films - we all know that amateur films of ISIS militants beheading people are plentiful. But, for whatever reason, while repeatedly shooting old men in the head is fine, whoever produces their professional-looking propaganda is averse to showing the beheading process.

This is what happens when the USA screws around playing world police to "bring democracy" to where is is not wanted nor possible. Saddam was the perfect leader for Iraq to keep assholes like these under control.

While we never should have ever meddled in the affairs of Iraq or Afghanistan, we now have the blood of all the innocent civilians killed on our hands. As much as I want us out of there for good, we owe it to the Iraqi people to try to undo some of the harm we have done. So yeah, unleash the full fury of the USA on these bastards.

Islam ultimately can not coexist with any other religion or people. So our foreign policy should be to support both sides of warring Islamic factions just enough so they are in a perpetual state of war with no clear winner. As long as they are busy killing each other, they are not much of a threat to the rest of the world. But if let to spread, Islam will eventually kill everyone who is not Muslim. That is what their holy book tells them to do, regardless of what the PC media says of this peace loving religion.
