Re: Jaguar Killed a Man in the Woods
Animals just do their thing-(nature). The human CREEP, encroaches on the animals habitat. This site exposes plenty of no good, rotten, worthless scumbags, so yes, empathy for the animals & not even a piss on the human. I have dealt with plenty more unappreciative two legged vermin than respectable humans.

Re: Jaguar Killed a Man in the Woods
But there is a big disconnect here, at least if you believe in evolution - I'm not making this particular argument against theistic creationists as that is another kettle of fish. From a Darwinian standpoint the idea that people "should know better", because it presupposes a moral basis for judging their actions, is based on air, or magic if you prefer. At some point in the evolutionary process, when say a certain degree of complexity in brain structure and consequent behavioral repertoire has been achieved, the realm or morality is supposed to appear? From where? Heaven? Evolution is a purely naturalistic, materialistic theory, and naturalism-materialism has no space for moral notions like "right" and "wrong", "good" and "bad", etc. Such theories can tell you what is, but have no truck with the mystical/mythical (from their perspective) realm of "ought". If evolution is correct then there is no basis for morality, and thus no basis for condemning humans any more than (other) animals when they injure and kill other humans or non-human animals. They also, are just doing what comes naturally, since that is all that there is for them to do. Nature is the be all and end all.
