Re: Iraqi Policeman Touching His Own Brains While Dying
Rifle rounds will usually penetrate a Kevlar helmet. Kevlar helmets are more for protection against shrapnel rather than bullets. Although pistol rounds, bullets fired from oblique angles or bullets that have expended sufficient energy from passing through something may be also be stopped. But a battle rifle round is likely to penetrate. They could make a helmet that is bullet proof up to a 50 caliber round, but it may weigh 350 lbs, require you to be strapped into a device and cost $75,000 each. The larger versions offer complete body coverage, are priced much higher and are called "tanks",. |

Re: Iraqi Policeman Touching His Own Brains While Dying
Damn.. You can see where the round penetrated the Kevlar at around 1100 o'clock on the Kevlar.. Honestly, I don't think that it was brain that he was touching, I think his scalp got disrupted by that round. If he was able to check his wound, he would not have been able to do such with a bullet to the grape like that.. |
