Re: Indiana State Fair Stage Collapse
Why do girls have to scream like chimps at every little thing? Seriously. "AHHHHHHHH!!!! OMG OMG OMG!!! AHHHH!!!! Hands held up over open mouth. So predictable. Seriously, every damn clip of someone jumping or something happening to someone with a live audience is accompanied by this same exact shrill sound. AHJHHH!!!!! OH MY GAWD AHHHHH!!! OHMIGAWD!!!! |

Re: Indiana State Fair Stage Collapse
Now that my ears have stopped ringing from all the AHH OMIGAWD!, take notice of the folks at the far right most section of the stage. There's a couple of people there who's split second decisions made the difference between who lived and who died. Do I run this direction or that direction? Or do I stay here and hit the ground and cover? Reminds me of something from Chuck Yeager's self-titled autobiography "Yeager". He writes of a fighter jet that crashes on the runway. One guy ejects from the crash. The other guy stays in. BOTH guys lived and both guys made the right decision. Had either of them done anything other than what they did, they would have died. Kinda reminds me of the situations seen here. Split second decisions with life and death ramifications. |

Re: Indiana State Fair Stage Collapse
LOL Third post in a row for me. I am transfixed by this footage! I just noticed something else that's quite simply stunning to see. As stage is starting to fall, take a look at the empty area of seats. There's a guy wearing a black shirt and white baseball cap. In front of him is a small child. He's running to the right, leading the child in front of him INTO the wreckage! He manages to get up and escape harm. But it looks like the kid is a goner. Wow. Don't even know what to think about that. |
