Re: Indian Wind Chimes
From an article NEW DELHI — Eleven members of a family were found dead at their home near New Delhi on Sunday, most of them hanged from the ceiling, blindfolded and gagged, the police said. The victims included a 77-year-old woman, her two sons, their wives, a daughter and five grandchildren, the police said. Ten of the bodies, which were apparently found by a neighbor, were hanged from an iron rail attached to the ceiling, and an 11th body, that of the elderly woman, was lying on the ground. The police said the circumstances that led to the deaths were not clear. Several officials initially said that the family members had killed themselves, but no suicide note was found at the scene. Officials later told Indian news outlets that the family members may have been murdered. The police said in a statement released Sunday evening that handwritten notes found in the house pointed toward the “observance of some definite spiritual or mystical practices by the whole family.” |

Re: Indian Wind Chimes
Police say they have found 11 bodies, 10 of them blindfolded and hanging from the roof of a home in the northern part of the Indian capital. The police control room says they are investigating whether they were members of a family who died by suicide or were killed. Police officer Vineet Kumar said all of them belonged to a family and most had lived in one home in Burari village in the northern part of the capital. The bodies were sent for an autopsy. Police were investigating whether they died by suicide or were killed, he said. No suicide note has been found, Kumar said. "Some of them were found hanging from an iron grill ceiling while others were lying on the floor blindfolded with their hands and legs tied up," the police officer said. "Prima facie, we suspect they committed suicide but we are also investigating the case with other possible angles of homicide as well. We are also checking the CCTV footages," the officer said. The family ran a grocery shop and plywood business out of their double-storey home in Sant Nagar, in north Delhi's Burari's area. "Their shop would open by 6am every morning but when it did not till 7.30am today, a neighbour went to check and later informed the police after finding most of them hanging from the grill ceiling," the officer said, adding a probe is underway. Police said Sunday there were no bullet marks on the bodies of seven women and four men. Police say 10 bodies were found hanging from the ceiling and the body of a 70-year-old woman was lying on the floor of the house |

Re: Indian Wind Chimes
What a terrible thing to have to clean up after. I gotta say, though, I give extra credit for the title of this thread!

Re: Indian Wind Chimes
If you refer to curry, shit and piss smells, then probably. But seems they opened their shop every day at 6 am and were found in less than 24 hours, so probably no decomposition odor...
