Re: Indian Teenager Crushed to Death After Basketball Pole Falls on Him
The pole was uprooted from the ground & didn't break or bend midway though not captured in the video but its clear from the angle. While these poles are very sturdy, removal of 1 of the 2 rear bolts (a total of 4) can make the structure unstable so a sabotage angle can't be ruled out considering the fact that he recently got selected for national level & would have made someone very jealous also strangely no-one else was practicing alongside!! His fellow mates definitely knew his way of practicing.. meaning dangling from the pole & waited for the right moment. Also the base of the pole being outside the CCTV surveillance zone only strengthens this hypothesis.
