I don't agree with the heating element being the one that ignited the gas, watching the video we can see that the fire starts at the back of the blow dryer, that points to the electric motor brushes sparking against the rotating shaft, if it had been the heating element then the fire would have come from the front of the blow dryer first.  |

Just a few frames after the ignition, his shirt is already burned off his body, and the flame velocity seems quite high, meaning a very hot, if brief, fire. I'd say it seems more like an accumulation of propellants from aerosol cans, rather than a traditional mains gas leak  |
