Re: India - Dude Ran Over By His Own Tractor After Slamming Into Biker
Nice spray rigs! We use those for rice as well. Usually cheaper than flying it on but the ruts they leave are murder during harvest when speed is critical getting the rice to the trailers with the bankout wagon. Lots of axle breakage, frame bending and power steering issues etc. Flying chemicals on leaves no ruts but it's pricey and if there is an orchard anywhere near you(nuts or fruit) makes it a no fly zone and you HAVE to use ground rigs. I think they use those for cotton and olives also. |

Actually if you look closer you'll notice it's not actually a full sized plane but an ultralight that's been doctored up to look like an air tractor or a thrush. Well, it's wayyy to small to look like a thrush because those planes are huge.

Re: India - Dude Ran Over By His Own Tractor After Slamming Into Biker
My gramps put two into the ground during his crop dusting career. First time he lost one of the cylinder heads over a peach orchard and nosed in between the rows of trees. Second time the intercooler crapped out, vaper locked the engine and he bellied into a half fooded rice check. He fought off two stoners fishing near by that thought he needed help and tried to pull him out of the cockpit |

It is the Indian version of James Dean's Porsche spyder. That tractor was on a mission! As Doug Marcaida said: It will "keel" |
