She might survive if the infections she's surely going to develop don't get her. Do you notice the huge puddles of blood all over the place? Me neither. Even though her lower body was mangled, and her abdomen ripped open, it seems no major vessels were exsanguinating. As long as they get her patched up, she may yet live to see old age.

Yes. There was a video on the YouTube channel, “Soft White Underbelly”, where a guy was shot in the head at point blank range and STILL loved because only the front of his brain was shot off. The back of his brain was still intact and he mentioned that that is where the ability to speak and whatnot is done.
