Re: Historic Execution in Cuba [Black and White]
His name was Enrique Despaigne, and he was convicted on 53 counts of murder that took place under Fulgencio Batista dictatorship by a military court martial and his execution (like the 70 more that took place the same day, January 12, 1959) was ordered by Raul Castro, Fidel’s brother. Their bodies were later buried in a mass grave (a 40 feet long, 10 feet wide and 10 feet deep ditch). This very execution was delayed some hours (for the better dawn lighting) so it could be filmed by a camera crew. http://www.executedtoday.com/2010/01...que-despaigne/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Summary_execution#Cuba http://news.google.com/newspapers?ni...pg=490,1835640 http://www.aguadadepasajeros.bravepa.../january59.htm |

Re: Historic Execution in Cuba [Black and White]
Who's to say he was a murderer at all? I'm gonna take the communist 'revolutionary' narrative with a grain of salt here.
