When a cop gets injured by baddies in the line of duty, the first impulse he & his brothers have is, to quote Detective Harry Callahan, "Shoot the bastard!" Human nature. I loved the moment of terror & panic the perpetrator had when he realized that he was, in all practicality, going to be executed, and would be dead in seconds. I wish more violent criminals had that moment of fear & terror before they meet Mr. Muerte.
