Help, Please Help, My Wife Has Both Her Legs Destroyed
in an road accident. Gory enough  Odisha state, India. Jharsuguda: In a sheer loss of humanity, few persons witnessing the plight of a woman, lying on the road with her both legs crushed by an ash-laden truck, remained mere spectators to the incident in Jharsuguda district today. Reportedly, a fruit stall owner A. M., his wife A. M. and two children were on their way to Andhari to attend the Banadurga Jatra on a motorcycle when they were hit by an ash-laden truck. As per eyewitnesses, the truck ran over the thighs of the woman after she fell from the motorcycle. As a result of it both her legs were completely crushed under the 10-wheeler. While her husband repeatedly cried for help, his wails fell on deaf ears. The onlookers were busy capturing the incident on their smart phones instead of extending a helping hand. Even the ambulance did not show up at the spot. Finally, she was carried to VIMSAR in Burla in a Maruti Van. People have alleged that speeding ash-laden trucks on the route have been the cause of many accidents in the past. |
