I want to believe the majority of the skin is burned such that it isn't sending pain signals, that the nervous system is completely overwhelmed (just the lungs should be provoking a violently desperate response but aren't) and lastly that the person is experiencing shock eg dramatic alteration of blood and other fluid levels, changed blood chemistry, organ failure - and has a very altered state of mind. The eyes are open and there is some movement but how cognizant would a person be?

That's what I want to believe. However there have been cases of victims telling witnesses who they were attacked by, before they died. But in this video I wonder if the victim was unconscious before the clip starts, and they may have a brain injury. We can assume that to be true because burning typically follows being beaten by the mob.
