i was in head on car accident in istanbul around 2002 was doing no more then 40 or 45 ,, dude!! after the crash and airbags i couldn't move my chest whatsover it was locked for 15 second or more i had massive pain on my chest bones due to belt and my neck was killing me. airbag burned the tip of my nose and my chin , yeah i would've got killed if i didn't have the belt but it works no more then 65 miles an hour , sometimes you may get stucked in burning car and can't get out due to belt . so i don't know whether wear it or not but i'm taking my chances
well for instant stops due to crash. especially to a truck (like hitting a wall ) it don't matter if you wear a seatbelt or not from 60 to 80 miles an hour to instant stop your internal organs and vital veins will be ripped or your neck will snap, However to reduce the impact they've got airbags now. )) but with this incident he had no chance whatsoever.
