Philippines, Sunday afternoon a a 31-year-old man died after falling off a zipline in a holiday resort. The victim rode the zipline where he finished his first ride by falling into the safety net without any glitches but on his second run, he fell again and was caught by the safety net but it was punctured and torn, causing the victim to fall to the ground just near the swimming pool.

The zipline has no harness. Someone is holding, you’re hanging to slide. If you let go of that, you could fall into the pool or into the safety net, Police told. He fell into the safety net, but the safety net was torn so he went straight to the cement side of the pool.

The man, who was a nurse, was taken to the hospital but was declared doa by the attending doctor. An investigation is ongoing.
