A friend of mine in Edinburg, near Pharr said the guy climbed the fence and then the tower so he could be videoed hanging off the top of the tower as is the fad for some these days.

He couldn't pull himself back up.

If you watch the video he doesn't jump, he's already hanging there and when his strength finally gave out he fell.

Hanging for even 10-15 seconds and then trying to pull yourself up is pretty difficult. Especially if you don't work out much. Only thing I could think is if you get a massive adrenaline rush from fear of death.

I work in pharr and every once in a while i pass by that road...the antenna is next to the road and i see all sorts of flowers and tshirts in memory of the guy....maybe i can get a pic one day
