Fox will not air the video and has only received minimal information from the police department who is still investigating the incident. According to officials, the incident did take place on Las Milpas road, Pharr, Texas.  According to a statement released by American Tower, the company who owns the electricity pole, they offer their condolences to the family and ensure that the company regularly conducts inspections at each of its sites and the Pharr Texas tower site’s fencing was intact, and the gates were locked and other security measures are in place. The appropriate authorities continue to investigate this incident, and consistent with our company policy, we are unable to comment further while the investigation remains ongoing. |

When I first saw this vid I thought there was someone above him taking pictures but now I see that it's a warning light for planes. That changes it from accident to suicide I think.

A friend of mine in Edinburg, near Pharr said the guy climbed the fence and then the tower so he could be videoed hanging off the top of the tower as is the fad for some these days. He couldn't pull himself back up. If you watch the video he doesn't jump, he's already hanging there and when his strength finally gave out he fell. |
