The way those bullets (or are they casings?), ricocheted off the fan. And spooked the murderer.

And even after all those bullets the guy is still alive enough to attempt to get away. First time seeing footage clearly of a victim being shot, still alive, and their body is jerking with each shot as they attempt to slowly get away. It sorta looks like what you'd see in a movie with a similar scene.
