I was talking to some friends in a parking lot when a car suddenly rolled up against a big tree ~100 feet from us & caved in the roof. I was the first person to get to the car. Three of the four people were completely smashed under the roof & the fourth was making grunting noises due to a severe brain injury (he died the next day). I tried to get in the car to help him but the doors were jammed (I ripped a board off the fence right next to the crash & tried to pry them open but they weren't budging). I pitied the people who had to scrape up the mess of those other 3 unfortunate motherfuckers.

It also landed directly on top of the cab. The firewall and front of the trunk bed are still recognizable. I'd be interested to know how the relative magnitude of these forces compares to the forces involved in the OceanGate Titan implosion. |
