Being raised as a Muslim, I can say that this is actually the punishment for gays. Next time any Muslim tries to convince you that Islam is a religion of peace, just ask them about these things. There is this new strategy they use now... never talking about these kind of things until they have the power.

im curious,is it true that in some muslim places,when a couple are to marry,the father inlaw sleeps with the groom the night before...the article said the man would have sex with the groom to teach the youngman how to treat his wife in bed...sounded like BS when i read it years ago in a mag...but makes me wonder anyway.

That is BS but there are pretty weird things just like any religion. Islam is primarily a mix of Christianity and Arab culture. For example, a girl is considered an adult if she is menstruating, even if she is 7 years old.
