The Gavin Dasaur Road Rage Shooting in Indianapolis
One person was killed in a shooting on Indianapolis' southeast side Tuesday night.

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department reported that officers responded to a shooting around 8:15 p.m. at the intersection of East Thompson Road and South Emerson Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers found a person with gunshot wounds lying in the middle of the road. A firearm was discovered nearby.

The victim, identified as 29-year-old Gavin Dasaur, was pronounced dead at the scene. Police initially detained the suspected shooter but later released him as the investigation continues.
