When the FUCK will Americans wake up, giving someone who is clearly messed in the head the ability to own weapons is just pure lunacy. I don't give a fuck about the NRA and the constitution, that was written in the late 18th Century, times change, rules have to as well. The complete ban of assault weapons OR stringent gun laws. Here in the UK, we have some of the tightest laws on owning a gun, yes we do have the occasional killings but not on the scale of the USA, how many is it this year...130 in 2023 alone I read...utter madness

I have friends who are UK cops, both Bobbies and armed. You guys have PLENTY of gun crime. The difference is only that as a Country, the British people are genuinely better people, so only the criminals, killing other criminals, involves the gun. So it's easily suppressed and covered from the media...

Not a bad thought but that background also helps distort any noise the officers are making and help confuse the perp. Side note: I have a grand daughter that will be starting school soon. This shit weighs HEAVY on my mind. I'm thinking about volunteering as a hall monitor to help keep an eye on things. Not sure they would approve of me being armed, I'll just have to let that be my secret.
