A football player has lost his life after he collapsed during a football match in Obosi, Nigeria.

The incident happened on Monday, February 21, during a match between Iwene Tansi FC and another local footbal club at Odum Layout.

The player slumped during the group match and was put into the backseat of a car and brought to a hospital where he was confirmed dead as a doornail.

This here is a fine example of SRT (Sonic Resuscitation Technique). When patting their chest does not elicit a response, place your mouth as close as you can to the patient's ear. Then shout their name as loud as you can while keeping your tone. If the patient does not respond, raise your tone and volume and repeat until a response is seen. If the patient dies during the course of treatment, it is customary to raise your head to the skies, kneel and exclaim "Whyyyyyyy?!".
