You need to ease up on the brown-nosing... you're becoming an obsequious sycophantic boot licker.

Re: Florida Man Holding a Child Hostage Gets Shot by Hero Cop
Mental illnesses in the U.S. go untreated due to a combination of factors, including stigma and discrimination, financial barriers like high costs and poor insurance coverage, and a lack of access to quality care. Many people avoid or delay treatment due to fear of being judged or losing their jobs, while others struggle to find available providers or afford the necessary care. And then you unfortunately can expect this. At least he didn't kill his little brother. |

Re: Florida Man Holding a Child Hostage Gets Shot by Hero Cop
This ended as well as could be hoped, for a situation that has gone this far. The farcical lack of mental health care, and the number of mentally ill people on the streets, DIRECTLY leads to these kinds of situations. Unfortunately, but THIS point, it is not the cops duty to make up for all the shortcomings that led to this situation. His job is to solve the situation, which this cop did, safely and efficiently. Sad, but that's the way it goes! |
