FLINT, Michigan. A Flint Police officer working at the Juneteenth parade on Saturday was ambushed with gunfire.

The officer, who has not yet been identified, returned fire and killed the 19-year-old woman.

The suspect allegedly fired at the officer who was working a traffic detail during the city’s Juneteenth Celebration Parade, the Michigan State Police said in a statement.

“This car pulled up shooting first !! From inside the car with the windows still up! Which is what caused the police to shoot her,” a person on Facebook alleged.

“He didn’t shoot her for no reason he had his life and the parade to protect. Why shots was coming from inside the car is what I don’t know.”

The officer was not injured, nor were any bystanders who were in there area. The shooting suspect, a 19-year-old female from Flint, died at a hospital, police said.

Just sounds pretty stupid that someone would do that, and why? The window will shatter into a million pieces, when they could have simply would it down.

I don’t do anything ‘for a living’ because I’m clever, I worked hard and retired young.

And if I were going to shoot a cop I’d be clever and open the window an inch, shoot then wind it back up. That way the cop would have no idea where the shot had come from. Unlike a whole window glass shattered across the street.

Might be a bit complicated for a genius like you to comprehend though....

And come to think of it, the rocket scientist in the car wasn’t so smart, she missed with each shot.

Think about this for a second, you're wondering why the person didnt wind their window down to shoot right? because you'd be "clever" and wind it down before you shot..
