Fire in India Leaves at Least 20 Students Dead
24 May 19 At least 20 people were killed and several others injured in a fire at a coaching center in Sarthana area of Surat in Gujarat. The coaching center was located on the third and fourth floors of the Takshashila Complex. According to witnesses there were roughly 50 students in the building before the blaze started. An initial investigation points to the fire being started due to a short circuit. The flames started at the bottom floor and worked it's way up. What a tragedy. I assume there were will be more casualties. |

How horrific, those poor people. A massive well done to the bloke on the ledge trying to help others. He saved 2 people, he's a true hero.

OMG These poor kids. I can’t even...are they falling on anything that can remotely break their fall? All those kids just falling. The fire department...is there and no ladders going up? What?  |
