Failed Suicide Attack on Pakistani Political Leader
A Pakistani political party leader narrowly escaped a suicide attack that targeted his convoy in Zhob, Balochistan province, with the suicide bomber being killed and six others being injured. The intended victim was Siraj-ul-Haq, the chief of Jamaat-e-Islami, a religious political party which seeks to establish an Islamic legal system. According to police, Haq escaped injury, but his vehicle was partly damaged. |
