Well here's the thing, the stuff that controls your essential functions such as breathing and heartbeat are in the cervical spine.. which is in your neck for those of you thinking "Cervical? Cervix? I ain't got no vagina!" You know who you are, don't deny it. I think the saying is C-3,4,5 keep the body alive. |

In Japanese sword practice they wrap a piece of bamboo in straw. This simulates the soft tissue and spinal column. Practice cutting through those to make sure it's done right the first time.

Why don't they just use a guillotine for god sake. doesn't that make sense. no failed beheading with that, and is really fast. |
