Re: Factory Worker Wrapped in Plastic

you can see the plastic going in and under and through a spike roll to remove air then up and over into the oven. the right side you can see the vents for the blower motor to pull heat from the oven. looks like a big square with a dry erase board on it. next to the controls. this guy probably missed the safety meeting.
Don't these machines have a big screw that turns and extrudes the plastic to make the pellets? The top of the machine bent quite a bit as it munched the guy, that can't be good for the guy. Would the victim get extruded or just jam the intake? "Spike roll" doesn't sound good, I am guessing kind of an automated "Iron Maiden"?

Re: Factory Worker Wrapped in Plastic

So it’s basically an Erema recycler? Our belt is fed by cut portions of plastic. How does this one work?
can't be sure of the specifics on this machine of course but in place of the guy we have a freewheel roll.

i'm sure all the different types of recyclers have different methods. ours is more of a gravity feed type. after the oven it goes through a shredder and into stage two oven. extruded through 1/4 piping and sliced to make pellets. that's the rundown i been given. it's not my usual area of expertise
