Looks like gas explosion. Likely boilers for melting chocolate. In Reading, the boilers could have been 100 years old. The building certainly was.

Building was erected in 1960. Just checked the blue prints. Gas company is checking the area houses for gas leaks as well and ripped another house pipes and replaced with new one as they had an L.E.L (low explosive level) warning on a property a block away
