Re: Electrician Incinerated by High-voltage Electricity During Maintenance
I want to know how people "know" that the guy getting fried didn't feel any pain ?!?!?! I find that just laughable that someone can speak to knowing something that they've never done. I mean really... That's just dumb as FUCK!! |

Re: Electrician Incinerated by High-voltage Electricity During Maintenance
I concur. I volunteered for a taser demonstration back when I was an airman. SF had me recite the airmen creed and tased me on the word “warrior”. I thought I was a tough sob, you know, but it felt like getting a steel rod shoved through my gut and pulled out my thigh. My whole body went into pretzel. Left little scars too. I don’t know if getting fried like that is any different. I don’t know squat about amperage or voltage. But I know that fucking taser made my nervous system go into firing on all cylinders mode. Third most painful experience of my life behind a systoscopy and passing a kidney stone. |

Re: Electrician Incinerated by High-voltage Electricity During Maintenance
Probably no pain and no clue he’s fri’n’dead. I had experience once when my finger touched the TV plug and get electrocuted. Just sudden lights out. ALL BLACK. Only regained my consciousness after maybe 3-5 seconds, and realized what the hell happened.

Re: Electrician Incinerated by High-voltage Electricity During Maintenance
1. Electrocution requires death, so you were shocked. It’s in the word “electric-execution” 2. You must be super sensitive because I’ve been shocked quite a few times and never have I passed out. And each time is a pretty good jolt to the nervous system from my experience. 3. Blacking out also doesn’t mean you weren’t in pain, it simply means you didn’t remember it when you woke. No dead person remembers their pain no matter how gruesome or painful. Memory loss is one of the symptoms of being dead. |
