~Ecuadorian Prison Violence Continues~
 The Service for Attention to Prisoners of Liberty (SNAI) activated the security protocols after armed incidents were recorded in the Cotopaxi prison. Unofficially it is known that L. N. was assassinated. The Service for the Attention of Prisoners of Liberty (SNAI) confirmed, on the afternoon of October 3, 2022, that armed confrontations were registered in the Cotopaxi prison for which the security protocols were activated. At the time, police tactical teams entered the detention center to contain the disturbances.       |
