Re: Drunk Nissan Terrano Driver Hit and Kills Man Doing a Neighbourhood Walk
You just thought you had health problems. Always strikes me funny when people die or get killed while exercising. "A perfectly healthy man gets hit by a bus while on his morning jog in the city.". Think my fat ass is gonna stay right here on the couch and eat another bag of Cheetos. |

Re: Drunk Nissan Terrano Driver Hit and Kills Man Doing a Neighbourhood Walk
Not to defend, just look at the circumstance from the drivers perspective... 22 y/o and have your whole life ahead of you.. Yes its a no-brainer that this guy had some thoughts racing through his head when he come to the realization that his life was about to change.. Giving benefit of the doubt, its obvious that drunk people should never operate vehicles. That is a know fact everywhere. Again, not defending, but maybe understanding the logic behind, and the thought process in why this guy made a decision to flee the scene, versus staying there for the police to arrive.. Possibly he was so drunk and blacked out and didnt realize that he struck the pedestrian??? Possibly he knew he hit something, but didnt know he hit a person??? Possibly being afraid to deal with the repercussions of DUI and manslaughter, he said fuck it and fled the scene, hoping to get away, probably not really giving a flying fuck anyway??? It would be fascinating to see the data on similar situations like this. To know the percentile on people making the choice of fleeing or staying at the accident scene.. If say 100 accidents with this study done... How many of you would flee or stay???? |
