Do a point system like the military has. You get 10 punches and it resets annually. Regular traffic violations are worth a single punch or two. Hitting a civilian is three punches. You can safely hit three people a year so long as you have no other violations. No other citations. No monetized ticketing. Just a punch card and that’s it. Traffic solved.

yeah, in the crosswalk. this guy was jay walking to the extreme... although the bus driver could have done better to not hit him and keep driving like a mook.

I totally get it and understand your perspective, however, pedestrians always have the right of way.. you don't just drive over because he is in the way.. you wait and if he don't move, call the police..

well yeah, obviously you are not supposed to hit them. but its not like pedestrians have the "right of way" in the middle of the road where they are allowed to cross at will and cars have to yield to them.

in the middle of the road you are not supposed to hit them because it is the nice thing to do and it could be considered murder depending on the circumstances. but theoretically, if a pedestrian gets hit outside of the cross-walk, the driver may be able to get off with no charges if it was a genuine accident with no negligence on their part. if a driver hits a pedestrian while the pedestrian has the right of way, like in a cross walk, no matter what that driver is fucked.

That dipshit was a total road obstruction and was blatantly in peoples way not giving a single ounce of fuck.. People like that are annoying as fuck and yes the victim is at fault if an accident happens and it was due to the negligence of the dipshit putting himself in harms way
