Dominican Republic - Man Dying After Trying to Kill His Ex + Shooting Himself
On the morning of 4th November 2020 in Baní (Dominican Republic), 26 year old J.M.M.T. shot his ex-girlfriend, 26 year old C.L.C.A. Thinking that 'C' was dead, 'J' turned the gun on himself. 'C' was taken to the hospital for treatment, whilst 'J' died at the scene. The couple had separated several months ago + had 3 children together. 'J' had not accepted the end of the relationship.

Wondered the same thing. Im guessing some sort of shotgun-pistol,given the shells sitting by it, but then how would that work? It would have one hell of a kickback! |

Re: Dominican Republic - Man Dying After Trying to Kill His Ex + Shooting Himself
It’s 100% a flare gun; it would explain why he’s still twitching, and why the girl didn’t die on the scene. Sometimes people will modify them to shoot shotgun shells to get a ‘blunderbuss’ effect, where it just blows out whatever you stuff in the shell. Picture I attached is an example of a similar flare gun; they’re ridiculously simple and cheap to make, and there’s a large amount of them because they were mass produced during the Second World War. I couldn’t find the exact one that he’s using, but this one is similar enough to give you guys an idea. |
