I completely agree. When we own pets that are terminally ill, irreversible suffering and excruciating pain..we do the humane thing and put them to sleep so they can be out of that pain and suffering. I don't understand why humans suffering in similar ways is any different. My Great grandma died of cancer and she was riddled with it and as a young kid I could see the agony she was in just looking in her eyes. She wanted to go so bad, I think its cruel to let cancer take its course..as it takes pieces of you away, one by one.

got me a shiny AR-15 locked away two feet from where I sit. Going out for a nice dinner, plenty of liquid courage, and putting the mouth of that rifle right below my chin on coming home if the disease should strike me. jumping under a truck? nah i'm good

Personally, I would've gone for a second opinion first, then have my way with a few helium balloons if need be, after all.

It's so irrational to allow pets to be put to sleep to stop their suffering but on the other hand try so hard to find ways ("Life support" machines) to prolong the life of humans... so they suffer more. It's so STUPID!

Ahhhh you go out and buy ten bags of heroin then sniff 'em all up in one shot and go to sleep. A lot less painful.
