Re: David Dorn Death Video
You are a complete joke......lmao......I don't know who you think you are trying to sound intelligent for but you are failing miserably......lololol What part of "ebonics" didn't you understand? Was it when he said this is someone's granddaddy? Ok...see this young man was yelling out in frustration because the man on the ground....he is/was someone's grandfather......... ok....then the young man yelled out," Over a tv cuz?" See when black people say over a tv cuz....it means how stupid was it that this man..who was so valuable to the community was shot over some idiot trying to loot a tv. And lastly, the young man yelled out OG quite a bit......ok....this is going to be a little difficult for you to grasp but i think we can get there......OG equals Old Gangster............its a term of affection and respect toward those older than themselves. So I hope this helped |

Re: David Dorn Death Video
Hopefully my video gets contributed properly, not sure if I did it right. I posted the full video and it shows more of the same but there are a couple interesting highlights. At 4:35mins in you see the camera man walk away and pass his rifle to someone, when he walks back to where the man is laying you see another looter attempt to walk into the pawn shop, he is warned by the cameraman to not go in there, and you see the looter reach into is waistband and the cameraman says "what you gunna pop me?" then he walks back over to his friend to get his gun back. At 6minutes he starts a 15 second motivational speech about hurting each other over nothing. At 9 minutes in they start (rhetorically) asking why has it been 15-20+ minutes without a police response. At 11min 20 seconds he basically tells the growing crowd the guy on the ground was protecting the place, and that he was the victim. In the last second, the police arrive. Anyway, props to the guy trying to help, but I would have liked to see someone at least try to help the guy with some basic first aid. |

Re: David Dorn Death Video
I don't think there was any basic first aid anybody could do at that point, looks like he was hit in the back. putting pressure on the wound could damage the guy even more for all they know, and what else can you do but put pressure on the wound? I would have liked a calm loving face for the guy to look at as he died. was nice the guy was trying to help, but telling the dying man on the ground that he was dead and he got killed over TVs was a bit...idk, coarse. would've probably been better if the guy stopped filming and held his hand and told him to stay calm and help is coming...something that would be helpful to him. can you imagine how scared he was? dying there in the night, unable to move and surrounded by strangers while his city burns? taking his last breaths... I would have liked to see somebody comforting him in his last moments. that girl who looked like she pushed on his belly and then walked away could have done it. |

Re: David Dorn Death Video
Yeah that's pretty much it, some more emotional support perhaps. I dont fault anyone there for not doing more, it's just one of those things where you wish humanity was a little more humane. Then you start thinking about why the man was shot to begin with...thats when I start to get cynical when I begin to think of the irony.

Re: David Dorn Death Video
So if I said a phrase to you using a Scottish accent would you understand me? No, you wouldn't and you would ask what I had said, so be quiet and quit being willfully stupid. Lacking common sense because I can't understand a deep Southern black accent, wow...that's certainly different. |
