They werent interested in converting the 6 Russian guys. Umar Karpinsky lost a lot of fighters that morning, almost 20 monkeys just to BMP-2 defending the outpost. One of the killed was his family member. He wasnt happy about this, and made the decision right there and then. The 5 guys were hiding in a basement of a house with only 3 magazines between them. Another one, a BMP driver badly injured was hidden by an older lady in her house. She even gave him the clothing to change. He is the only one that doesnt have camo in the video. Aleksei Polagaev There were many instances when chechens would offer a captured Russian to convert to Islam and join their ranks. In fact a well known case in Russia was Limonov and Klochkov. They were captured by Chechens and converted to Islam. In exchange they had to execute their own captured guys in the POW camp. In that exact camp was a famous Russian martyr Eugene Rodionov, who was beheaded on his birthday for refusing to convert to Islam. But usually if you are offered that choice you must either kill one of your own guys, or participate in the attack operations against your own guys. I will take death before dishonor. |

19 September 2005 A court in Russia's North Caucasus republic of Daghestan today sentenced a Chechen insurgent to 25 years in prison for allegedly taking part in the execution of Russian soldiers taken prisoner. A video operator caught the September 1999 beheading of the six Interior Ministry soldiers on tape. Islan Mukaev was arrested in June in a camp for Chechen refugees in the republic of Ingushetia. He admitted taking part in the 1999 Chechen insurgent raid on Daghestan but not in the killing of the prisoners. What a fucking cowardly piece of pig shit. There he is. Islan Mukaev, on camera for us all to see doing his dirty work, and when he is brought to account for his actions he has the audacity to try and pretend he is not guilty. Where is the great warrior of Islam now ? The Martyr and Jihadist? Hiding under his mum's fucking bed, that's where he is. What a fucking utter disgrace of a man.
