Chunk of Ice Falls Onto Woman's Head Killing Her Instantly
Russia, A melting piece of ice killed a woman (60) after if fell off the roof of a high-rise building hitting her in the head. The tragic incident was caught on surveillance camera. The video shows N.S. leaving a parked car and slowly walking towards the entrance of the building when suddenly a big chunk of ice fell onto her head killing her on the spot.  A witness told that after he came closer that nothing was left of her head. The police qualified her death as an accident. Meanwhile they saw that the roof was not cleaned properly so an internal investigation was started.  The pensioner's family are preparing to sue the municipal authorities which are responsible for removing potentially lethal icicles hanging from buildings. Contractors named as Verny Vybor had cleared this building but evidently missed the killer icicle. Separate footage shows other uncleared icicles hanging from the building. Icicles were crashed by the municipal workers but it looks like they did not clean up all of them. |

Terrible luck.. Could have went on the longer scenic drive and the ice would have been on the deck instead of on her  |

Ah cool you've found this unwatermarked. I came across this a few days ago but it had a watermark going up the left side. Poor woman, so messed up to think that any second could be our last.

Jeezus, a 100 pound icicle making a tunnel out of someones head. And there was no way for that poor woman to avoid this, other than not living in a cold city.

I think the whole incident could have been avoided if the building had properly done maintenance. I think the owner or whoever should be held liable for that poor woman's death. |
