A gas explosion occurred in a restaurant along Longyan South Road, Jinping District, Shantou City, Guangdong Province, at around 07:40 June 5. Local media indicate the incident has killed at least one person, and injured six others. The official casualty toll may increase in the coming hours. The blast also reportedly caused damage to the affected building and nearby properties. Investigation and clearance operations are ongoing.

Would a gas explosion have that much blast? Leveled and injured or killed the cyclist on the far side of the street. Maybe shrapnel hit them or it was a mob hit...

Yes a natural gas link will do that we had several of these in the US all cases the buildings don't even be anything left one of chocolate factory went up and was wiped off the face of the planet a house went up killing the residents inside and kill the neighbor and one house
