Probably some daddy's (or mommy's) boy had a fight with his parents, and impulsively decided "he'd show them!" so he jumped off the bridge. Wouldn't surprise me if he clawed at his temples just before and said, "YOU'RE. TEARING. ME. APART!" with a final fling of his James Dean pomp as he flew out the car and over the bridge.
