Yeah, the thing that always gets me with DR videos is not the violence. It's not the blood or gore, it's the complete and utter lack of compassion or empathy from the people standing around. Life and other peoples' pain seems so worthless to those people. I can't imagine being in a situation like this and not checking pulses, not trying to get the kids away and take care of them. And I hate people! I actively dislike being around most people, and yet I'm continually shocked by how little the bystanders in these videos can be bothered to care. |
