I wish death sentences were carried out that quick in the US. We had a local man convicted of a 1989 rape and murder of a 9yo girl. He was sentenced to death; but due to appeals processes was around for twenty years before he was actually executed.  |

i love due process. anyone can make a claim these days and in an uncivilized society such as the swamp that is brazil this can happen. not saying a child rapist doesn’t deserve such a sentence but i hope his case was reviewed and all the facts presented to determine true guilt (mostly likely not)

Are you aware of the % of American death row convictions that are proven innocent? Sometimes AFTER execution occurs? That's enough to never support death penalty. Not that American's care about facts, science, reality, solving problems, progress, or....well really anything other than bullying each other... and sucking Jesus' dick.
