Such an beautiful world we live in. When my time comes to have my head detached from my torso, I hope it is filmed for all you wonderful people to see. All kidding aside, I really do find it interesting to see such grotesque violence. But I often wonder how the families feel knowing this footage is out there. I would be saddened if it were my people.

Well shit. This video (as stated in the OP) is rather old. I've seen a version of it many times over the years. But this is the first time I have ever seen the entire 18 minute video complete. Not sure why the sound cuts out for the entire middle portion (the truncated vid I have included sound for the entire execution, but cuts out most of the stuff before and after it, as well as several angles of the decap itself), but its a fair trade-off for such a complete version. This is a truly remarkable find of a 'classic' video from the gore scene.

I have a transcript of the edited version somewhere, but it wouldn't be worth much when weighed against this extra footage.

The gist of the event is that this woman (a schoolteacher) and her boyfriend were caught with a radio and a codesheet used to correspond with Russian military operatives. They were basically snitching on this crew of Chech gangsters/terrorists and the footage here is the interview about their informing and the end result of it.

The woman repeated denies being an informant and claims that she never even used the radio, but they obviously doubt the veracity of her claims. This video is significantly more detailed than the original (which was all of 4 minutes long) and not only demonstrates far more of the interrogation itself, but also a lot more of the terrorizing of this woman. In the original, truncated version, many people commented that she hardly resisted or protested at all prior to and during her execution. This video makes it clear that they terrorized the hell out of her for a disturbingly long time before the execution.

If memory serves, most of the men involved in this execution were later captured and executed themselves.
