Mexico. Two criminals take out a firearm and point it at the young man to take his car away,. The young man, C. 24 years old, tries to resist the theft of his car and begins to struggle.

However, the subject with whom he was struggling pointed the firearm at him and then shot him. The thieves fled the scene with the vehicle and the young man was left lying dead on the asphalt.

There are plenty of examples out in circulation proving two things.

1. Compliance with armed aggressors is no guarantee of survival.
2. Anything less than swift, brutal use of lethal force is not sufficient for survival of an encounter with an armed aggressor.

These hold true whether the armed aggressors are working for themselves or for the government.
