I totally see where you are coming from; on the other hand it could have had nothing to do with the attacker needing an advantage. There are plenty of easy ways to get an unfair advantage in a street-fight without resorting to getting them in their sleep: bats, knives, brass knuckles, etc. This has a psychology element in that it will probably cause him sleep problems for the rest of his life(assuming he didn't die). The attacker completely went overboard through either emotion and/or ignorance(not aware of the damage he was actually inflicting). If he really did fuck some kid; does he really deserve a fair fight anyway...sure as fuck didn't give the child a fair shot at a normal life.  |
