Brazilian Footballer Dead After Motorbike Crash
Thalles Lima de Conceição Penha (18th May 1995 – 22nd June 2019)  On the morning of 22nd June 2019 in São Gonçalo (Brazil), 24 year old footballer, Thalles, died in a motorbike crash. 26 year old Yuri Sergio Luparelli also lost his life. 3 girls were injured + taken to the hospital. Thalles, who played as an attacker for Vasco da Gama, was taken to the hospital but died from his injuries. Yuri died at the scene. 18 year old Lhorrainy Vasconcelos, 19 year old Karolayne C. Almeida (Thalles' girlfriend) + another woman, were taken to the hospital in stable conditions. "Thalles emerged at the cross-Maltese base and gained main casting space starting in 2013. In five seasons for the club, played 157 games and made 36 goals. He was currently assigned to Ponte Preta. After the passage by Vasco in 2017, the player was loaned to Japan's Albirex Niigata for a year. Then he returned to Brazil to defend the team from Campinas. Thalles had a contract with Vasco until December 2019. In 2014, he even qualified for the U20 Brazilian National Team."      Thalles + Karolayne  Thalles' father  Thalles' mother  Thalles' uncle

As soon as I saw it on a list of deaths yesterday I hopped straight on it! At the time, I only came across a shitty video + decided to leave it. Then I remembered about it this morning + bargain, found better videos + some photos. There's probably more out there to find or will be soon. The girl at the beginning of one of the videos looks like she's agonal breathing, so yeah I agree, it's quite surprising that all the girls survived...for now.

Amazing those 3 women survived, especially that first one with the blood pouring out of her nose and eyes. Wow. I’m not understanding how this occurred. They were all on the bikes, so one had 2 and the other had 3 people?  |
