Brazil - Teenage Girl Dead After Being Hit by a Car
On the morning of 7th April 2022 in Teresina (Brazil), J.A.d.C.S. died when she was run over. A group of 5 friends were on their way to church. They all crossed the road, but 'J' + N.V. were hit by a car. They hadn't looked before stepping out in front of the speeding car. 'J' died at the seen + 'N' was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. The driver, 'L', was arrested later that morning. He was breathalised, but it was negative.

A lot of people seem to walk into the street looking in the opposite direction of oncoming traffic nowadays. Is it some kind of statement? I don't get it
