agreed - mostly! just want to point out that your overall point is absolutely spot on, leave other people and their gender/sexual identities alone! and yes, historically transgender people existed long before christianity. however I would also like to point out that using the phrase t*annies is a super hateful slur, even if using it in support of the transgender population. extremely similar to using f*ggot or d*ke for gay and bisexual people. Additionally, transsexuals has fallen out of the modern lexicon (although there are some - usually older - individuals who prefer the terms transsexual and transvestite), generally transgender is the overall term used presently.

I love that you point out there are so many examples of cisgender men that are horrible creatures because of their conscious actions, rather than because of how they identify/their body not matching what these assholes think gendered bodies should look like.
